Pearl is a lonely mermaid trapped on the bottom of a debris-filled river with assorted ne’er-do-wells. She is given one chance to escape to the lights and music of the big city, but there is a condition (of course): she must bring back the Baby. Along the way, she discovers the seamy side of the city and uncovers secrets that will change everything.
This is a full-length musical under development. Initial public reading of book held at Sadie’s in Frostburg in October 2017. Music slated for completion by end of 2019.
